How we move packs from Sunnyrock

Every business-day, our team dispatches move packs from our Sunnyrock 1401 site for clients across South Africa. Packs leave with lane-card notes so your dispatch team stays up to date on which parcels are in which run, with clear ops info attached at pickup. We organise pickup routes and drop-off points to suit your team's needs, especially if you move bulk stock between Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Gqeberha or major industrial parks.

If you have regional hubs, demo packs tour our distribution points most weeks. This keeps your operators in sync with how we handle stock rotation and short-term staging. You can learn more about our hub network and local staging options on our regional hubs page.

Typical shipping lanes and timings

Gauteng runs usually offer overnight windows, but this depends on route scheduling and local access conditions (including load-shedding or municipal roadworks). Coastal staging is managed via Durban or Cape Town hubs. Timing for coastal delivery is generally same week if your move enters the network by Tuesday. For central regions like Bloemfontein, we coordinate with your preferred delivery slot to fit factory or distributor handover windows.

While every move is scheduled for the most efficient route available, unpredictable events can alter run sheets. Our priority is safe, timely handover to your designated recipient. For regular updates, check the updates page or send us a message through our contact form.

  • Gauteng overnight windows for most urban runs
  • Staging via Durban and Cape Town for coastal deliveries
  • Flexible slots for industrial and business parks
  • Operator contact details and run notes on every ops pack

What goes into every ops pack

Each ops pack includes clear printable notes, the lane-card for tracking, and dispatch instructions specific to your move. Dispatch and ops teams always receive a printable rhythm to match your expected flow. This helps you avoid confusion, especially during busy periods or end-of-month runs. Our rhythm system keeps your pack movement in sync with your own shift changes.

We recommend keeping physical copies of ops packs in your main reception or stock area for reference. This helps with SARS paperwork checks, SADC waybills, or municipal audits if required.

Handling requests, errors and handbacks

If you need to change a run sheet, request a handback, or flag an error, send a message through our contact form. We do not use web forms. Our team can amend pickup windows or delivery notes if your situation changes due to load-shedding, equipment failure or site closures.

Should a pack be delayed, lost or damaged in transit, we will notify your dispatch contact as soon as possible and arrange a fresh run if necessary. Please refer to your project terms or your moves pack for further details. Disputes or special requests are handled by the operations lead on duty.

  • Contact our team directly by sending us a message for any pack issue
  • Ops packs can be tracked by lane-card reference
  • Urgent rerouting is managed on a case-by-case basis
